For many visitors, the Château Royal de Blois is a blend of many architectural styles. Indeed, they’d be right, as this excellent French monument was the work of 5 principal architects in succession. Built as far back as the early 9th century, the building was remodeled several times, making it a compilation of French architecture from the Middle Ages to the Classical era.
