History of Château de Villesavin
Built in 1527, Château de Villesavin has been home to a number of noblemen, from Jean le Breton to the de Sparre family, including King Henri IV ‘s advisor Jean Phélippeaux. Inspired by Italian Renaissance architecture and the Château de Chambord, it has held historic monument status since 1928.
Today, Villesavin is a major tourist attraction. Its attractions include a wedding museum and a horse-drawn carriage museum; interactive mobile tours are available, as well as enigma trails for children in the château grounds.

However, if you’d like to take advantage of the campsite’s entertainment, particularly the children’s clubs and activities, these are mainly available during the high season (July/August).
Opt for an original stay by choosing to stay in a bivouac tent on stilts, or in a cozy, rustic trailer away from the rest of the campsite; or enjoy a warm, traditional camping experience in the Coco Sweet.
