Camping La Grande Tortue has been committed to environmental protection since 2005. By choosing to go on vacation at a campsite with the “Camping Qualité” label, you can be sure of a great vacation.
In fact, to obtain the label, the campsite is audited on the basis of a grid comprising numerous criteria. If it achieves a sufficiently high score, it joins the “Camping Qualité” network. Then, to ensure that it continues to respect our charter, it is regularly audited. This enables us to ensure that the services they offer are of the highest quality.

Hospitality, availability, thoughtfulness and efficiency are the hallmarks of the manager and his team. They contribute to a serene, pleasant and convivial stay.
Impeccable cleanliness
Throughout the opening period, cleanliness and hygiene are guaranteed throughout the campsite. From the reception to the swimming pool, from the sanitary facilities to the driveways, everything is spotless.
Accurate and truthful information
The campsite manager provides complete, clear and accurate information about his establishment: precise description of facilities, opening times and periods for reception, services and activities. Rates are clearly expressed and strictly applied.
Private, well-kept location
The campsite manager takes all the necessary steps to offer a private pitch and guarantee the utmost peace and quiet on the site. The site is tastefully and aesthetically designed to blend in with the surroundings.
Respect for the environment
The campsite manager is committed to preserving nature and the environment, and to developing his campsite with respect, protection and the search for appropriate environmental solutions. In so doing, they are helping to preserve an environment that is increasingly under threat.

Camping La Grande Tortue has been committed to environmental protection since 2005.
The company’s environmental policy has 3 main focuses
- Reducing waste volumes and impacts
- Reducing energy consumption
- Implementation of a responsible purchasing policy.
to achieve this policy, strategies are mainly focused on
- education and awareness-raising for staff and customers
- the material and human resources required for their implementation
The implementation of this policy is the responsibility of management, who are committed to energizing the entire company. Our goal is to be among the best in the outdoor tourism industry.
Since 2021, we’ve been committed to reducing the flow of water from outdoor hydrants and equipping new mobile homes with the GTC ready system, which autonomously manages electricity consumption (cutting off heating if windows or doors are opened). We have rebuilt 2 sanitary blocks in compliance with energy-saving specifications (lights with motion detectors, flow reducer for 6L/min taps).
We continue to maintain our existing commitments and communicate them to customers, employees and other partners.
